Sold Out
Sometimes items can go out of stock in the kitchen, such items can be stocked out in the POS system so that this item will not be ordered again until it is stocked in. This document will help us understand how to do that.

STOCK OUT
STEP 1: Log in to the DinePlan POS system. Go to FRONT DESK ---> Click on "SOLD OUT".
STEP 2: Click on the "ADD SOLD OUT" button on the top right corner as shown.
STEP 3: Below page opens up. Select the required "PRODUCT" from the drop-down, if the product has portions select "PORTION". Set the count of the items left in the "COUNTER" section. Click on "SAVE".
Bulk item stock out can be done using the EXPORT MENU and IMPORT SOLD OUT.
STEP 4: In the SOLD OUT page, Click on "EXPORT MENU" and save the file. The file gets saved in .xlsx format.
STEP 5: Open the .xlsx file, the list of all the items appears with the counter set to 0. Edit the counter for required items, remove items that do not have to be stocked out and SAVE the file.
STEP 6: Click on "IMPORT SOLD OUT" select the .xlsx file and Save.
KEYNOTES:
The item that is stocked out is shown in the light green shade in POS during ordering.
When the item goes out of stock while ordering below shown pop-up appears.
STOCK IN
STEP 1: Go to the SOLD OUT page, a list of all the stocked out items appears. Click on the item that has to be stocked-in back.
STEP 2: Click on the "DELETE" button.
