Introduction
Dinefly is a mobile ordering App used in the restaurant to key in the orders using a Smartphone or a tablet. The DineFly application is linked with the POS system and when the orders are placed using POS it is updated in the DineFly application and vice versa.

Installation and Setup
DOWNLOAD APP
STEP 1: Download the DineFly application from the Google Play store from this link.
SERVER SETTINGS
STEP 1: Open DinePlan POS, Go to Backoffice --> Setting --> Local Settings.
STEP2: Click on Service, the following screen will appear and select the IP Address of the System and Tick the Start API Server. Go to DineFly and enter the information as described in the description box below.
Local IP Address | Choose IP Address for the server. The Fly Server will listen to the IP Address. |
Local Port | Enter Local Port. By default, it will give you the Port 8080 |
Fly Entity Screens | Enter the Entity Screens that you want to display in the Android. |
Bill Job | Select the Job that wants to be printed from the DineFly Device. This is a job for Printing Bill from the Android Device. |
Copies | A number of Bill Copies to be printed. |
CREATE DEVICE
STEP 1: Go to Backoffice --> Settings --> Devices. Click on Add DineFly on the right side as shown below.
STEP 2: The following screen appears and then fill in all the required details as described in the table.
Device Type | Choose DineFly from the drop-down |
Name | Enter the Name |
Fly Identification | Auto-Generated Identification Code |
Terminal | Choose Server |
Menu | Choose the Menu |
Entity Screen | Enter the Entity Screen Name |
Department | Choose the department |
Alias Name | It will display the Alias Name |
STEP 3: Click on the Link DineFly button, a QR code appears as follows.
LINKING APPLICATION TO POS SYSTEM
STEP 1: Open the Application on android and Scan the above QR Code on the POS to link the DineFly application to the POS system.
STEP 2: The below page opens up on the DineFly application. Enter the Pin and click on the tick to login to the application.
