Payments

Payment can be done from the Dineplan POS system from the ordering page. Payments can do done through Cash, card, Digital payment methods, Vouchers, and many other options. Dineplan also supports split payment when the customer requests.

Follow the below steps to make payment.
STEP 1: Go to the order page and click on the "PAY" button and the following page appears.
This page has the following,
Items ordered - On the left side of the page, all the items ordered are listed, they can be selected individually to be paid individually as well.
Payment mode - Different payment modes which restaurant has opted are listed on the right column, customer can select any mode for payment or can use multiple modes (ex: 50% cash and rest card).
KeyPad and Fixed digits - For paying part by part
Split - Split button is used when the amount has to be split and paid.
Discount and Fixed Discount - To add discounts to the order if there are any discounts are applied.
1/n - where n is the number of people amount has to be divided equally.
STEP 2 - Select the amount to pay and mode of payment and complete the transaction.
There are various payment options and can be displayed as required by the restaurant.
Restaurants can also use loyalty programs, run discounts, give away vouchers for their customers' benefit and the POS supports the payment with any/all of these payment methods.
SPLIT PAYMENT
Split Payment will be helpful if you want to do the SPLIT Payment among the Customers and also display the Tendered Amount accordingly.
Consider a Scenario, where TICKET TOTAL is $ 46 where it will be shared by two people like 20 and 26

The first customer has to be PAY $20 but they pay $25 where a change of $5 has to be returned.
STEP 1: Enter the Amount they are going to Pay or select the items for which they are willing to pay, which here is $20
STEP 2: Click Split Button. The following screen appears

STEP 3: Enter the Value $25 now and Choose the Payment Mode and It will display the change value that has to be returned as $5.

STEP 4: You can continue for the next Customer and so on.
While doing split up, you have entered the wrong SPLIT VALUE $20, you can revert by clicking SPLIT again and It will bring back the Value to the Total Amount.
All the buttons can have customized text, which means the buttons can be named/renamed according to their requirement and POS also supports various languages.
