Customers

Usually, B2B business clients who make the purchases regularly can be added to Retail Plan as Customers as this makes it easier to maintain their transactions. 

Now let us see how to create Customers on Retail Plan. 

Create Vendors

STEP 1: Log in to the Retail Plan portal. Go to SALES --> CUSTOMER section. Here, we can see the list of all the existing Customers. 

 

STEP 2: Now to create a New Customer, click on CREATE CUSTOMER button. 

 

STEP 3: Add the Customer details as explained below.

  • Customer Code - A code for identification of the Customer.

  • Customer Name - Add the Customer Name. This can be the name of the Customer or a brand name.

  • Email - An email address for contacting the Customer.

  • Sales Limit - This is optional, it can be used if we want to limit the sales to this Customer.  

  • Tax Exemption - To exempt the Customer from tax.

  • Tax Registration No - Add the Tax Registration Number.

  • Payment Terms - Select the Payment Terms created for this Customer. 

  • Price Group - Select the Price Group if the customer belongs to a particular price group.

 

STEP 4: Add the Address and Save the Customer.

 

This way we can create Customers individually on Retail Plan. 

NOTE:

  • Remember that we associated the Customer to the Products on Customer section on the Product Page.

  • We can create Customers in Bulk. To do this, export a Template by clicking on the Export button as marked on the picture below. 

 

Using the Template, add the Customer details on the sheet and Save the Sheet.

 

Then, import the Customer list to the Portal by clicking on the Import option and selecting the required file, and importing it to the portal. 

 

  • The Customer details can be edited by clicking on the Edit option, then making required edits. It can be deleted by clicking on the Delete button.

 

  • The UPDATE PRODUCT PRICING button takes us to the page as shown below. Here we can see the List of Products that we selling to this customer. 

Here we can update the Price of any/all of the Products listed and Save them.

 

  • ACCOUNT STATEMENT - The account Statement opens the Statements of this particular customer. The Date range can be selected to see the statement between that date range.

 

  • OUTSTANDING STATEMENTS - To view the outstanding statements of this customer, click on the Outstanding statement option in the Actions column.
