POS Functionality

Retail Plan POS is a billing software for supermarkets, shopping malls, showrooms, stores, and other enterprises. The retail plan system.

In this document, we will understand how to use the billing software to bill the items at the counter. In the next document, we will see more features available on the POS. 

POS Billing

Now to bill the purchased products at the counter follow the below steps. 

STEPS 1: Log in to the Retail Plan software by keying in the username and the password.

 

 

STEP 2: Once we are logged in, the following page opens. 

 

STEP 3: On the right pane, we can see the items and the categories. Any item can be selected from here. 

NOTE that all the items in the store will have the barcode which can be scanned to get the details of the product. 

The item can also be searched in the Item section.

 

STEP 4: When the item is selected, the quantity can be entered and saved. 

 

NOTE: When any packed or fixed quantity items are scanned through bar code or selected from the list, then it won't ask to change the quantity. For example, in the below image, Dettol Soap is selected for the fixed quantity. 

 

STEP 5: Once all the items are entered, go to the payment options, just click on the Total amount or Select the Payment option at the top. 

 

STEP 6: Now, select the payment option and make the payment. Here you can select the amount the customer pays. 

STEP 7: Once the payment is done, you get a pop-up of the status and the amount that has to be returned to the customer as shown below.

 

 

NOTE: Once the transaction is done the previous transaction details will be visible below, such as the Receipt number, the amount the customer paid and the change returned back to the customer.
