TICKET - Number Generator

Number generator section under tickets column. In this section, we can generate number series with the prefixes and suffixes. These series can be used to number the Orders, tickets, etc. to identify different departments. 

For example, the dine-in order number can be labeled with the number series with the prefix "IN". Ex: IN001, IN002. Take away orders with the prefix of "TA", TA001, TA002. 

Let us see how to create these number series and associate it with the different departments on Dineplan. 

CREATE NUMBER SERIES

STEP 1: First, let us create the series. For this, go to the BACKOFFICE --> TICKETS --> NUMBER GENERATOR. This page opens.  Here we can see this list of all the existing number series.

STEP 2: To add a new series click on the Add Number Generator button. The following page opens.

STEP 3: Add the Name and the Number format.  For the Prefix ,the format is XX# for Suffix the format is #XX. 

STEP 4: Save the Page. 

ASSOCIATE TO THE DEPARTMENTS.

STEP 5: Go to BACKOFFICE --> TICKETS --> TICKET TYPE. Select the Ticket type created for that particular department. Select the different Number Generators for all the sections marked inside the Box and Save.

STEP 6: Go to BACKOFFICE --> SETTINGS --> DEPARTMENT. Create/Edit the Department created. Select the required Ticket Type that was created in STEP 5.
