Schedules
This part of DinePlay deals with scheduling your broadcasts. It is done by creating events for media content to be broadcast.
5.1 Viewing scheduled event calendar
Select “Schedules” from a list of Play menu items. The calendar of events should be displayed.

5.2 Adding a new event
Click the “ADD EVENT” button from the menu bar of the event calendar. This should take you to the scheduled event information screen.

Enter details for the event to be created.

Name: Give the event a name.
Display/Display Group: You have an option to choose whether you want the event to be for a display or a display group. Mark your option by selecting one of the radio buttons then input the selected display/display group into the text box by clicking the icon to bring up a display/display group selector and select an item from the list.
Dayparting: Select a daypart from the selector which will be brought up when clicking the icon. If your option is “Custom” Start Time and End Time inputs are enabled otherwise the inputs are locked.
Start Time: Specify “when” you want your event to start broadcasting. This input is disabled when a daypart is used.
End Time: Specify “when” you want your event to end broadcasting. This input is disabled when a daypart is used.
Layout: Specify the layout to be used.
Priority: Specify the priority. This is useful when multiple events are found at the same timing. A higher number indicates higher priority.
Input validation is triggered when any of the inputs are changed and the validation result is displayed as shown in the following figure.

Click the “SAVE” button to finish the event creation.
Or click the “CANCEL” button to discard event creation and leave the screen.
5.3 Adding a new event with repetition
Repeats are reoccurrences of the scheduled events. DinePlay duplicates your event and places them at different future times depending on the type of the selected repetition. The steps are as follows.
Select the “Repeat” tab in the event information screen.

Repeats: Select one of the following repeat types.
Per-minute
Hourly
Daily
Weekly
Monthly
Yearly
When “Weekly” is selected you can also specify weekdays.

Every: Specify numeric input to indicate how frequently the event is repeated.
Until: Specify the ending of repetition.
5.4 Using the scheduled event list in different views.
Month view - Month view is the default view to be shown when clicking Schedules from the menu. The picture of the month view is shown above.
Week view - To access the Week view, click the “WEEK” button on the toolbar. The scheduled event calendar should display the following screen.

Day view - To access the Day view, click the “DAY” button on the toolbar. The scheduled event calendar should display the following screen.

List view - List view displays the list of the scheduled events. To access the List view, click the “List” button on the toolbar. The scheduled event calendar should display the following screen. A date may be applied to filter the list items.

When using Month, Week Day views, you may apply the filter by Display, Display group or ALL The filtering options can be found on the toolbar as shown in the figure below.

5.5 Editing and deleting a scheduled event.
5.5.1 Independent events
To edit or delete a scheduled event, you need to enter the scheduled event information screen in edit mode. Click an event on the scheduled event calendar in Month, Week, or Day view to enter edit mode.
Alternatively, in List view, Find dropdown list in the first column of the grid in the scheduled event list page and click to expand. To enter the edit mode click “Edit” or “Delete” to delete the event of interest.

On the scheduled event information screen, you perform the edition and click the “SAVE” button. To delete, click the “DELETE” button.

The Delete Confirm dialog box shows up.
Click “Yes” to confirm the deletion.
Or click “Cancel” to close the dialog box without deletion.
5.5.2 Dependent events
In edit mode on the scheduled event information screen, in case the selected event is part of a repetition of events, there are two additional buttons which are the “DELETE ALL EVENT” and “SAVE ALL EVENTS”. They allow you to choose whether you want to delete/edit the selected event only or the selected event and its associated recurrences.
