Product Group

Product Group allows to create one product group and create multiple products for this product group using the Attributes.

For example, Levis Tshirt can be a Product Group. And different sizes and colors (attributes) can be defining elements for different products of this product group. 

Now, let us see how to create a Product group and products in this product group.

Create a Product Group and Products 

STEP 1: Go to INVENTORY --> PRODUCT GROUP section. This page opens.

STEP 2: Here, click on CREATE PRODUCT GROUP button to create a new Product Group.

A page like this opens, which is similar to the Products page, except it has one other page called ATTRIBUTES.

STEP 3: Fill in all the detail, just like we fill in the Products page (refer to this page to know more).

Next, let's go to the Attribute page. This page opens. 

STEP 4: Select the attributes and values. Then click on GENERATE ITEMS.

STEP 5: Now, you can see different items created. You can see the Item code, Item name created, and option to add the cost and prices for the items.

STEP 6: Add the cost and Selling price for these items and Save. 

NOTE: Now, you can edit or delete by clicking on the respective action in the Actions column.

NOTE: On the Products page, you can see different products created using the product group.
