Serve Now or Later

By default, DinePlan has the feature of Serve Later or Now and alternatively call as "Hold and Fire"

This document has two parts.

Part 1 helps to set up Serve Now or Later for Tables for all the Orders. Part 2 has the configuration on existing Serve Now Later to change for the Paid Orders

Part 1: Serve Now or Later for Tables

Here are the steps to be done

1. CREATE STATE FOR SERVE LATER - Helps to Display the Table in Different Colors

2. CHANGE RULES FOR SERVE LATER OR NOW

3. TEST

STEP 1: CREATE STATES

The following State has been created to display only the table which has ServeLater to be in Different Color.

Open

STEP 2: CHANGE RULES FOR SERVE LATER OR NOW

Serve Later Command should be displayed at the Ticket Level as below

Open

Serve Now Command should be displayed only if the Ticket State is ServeLater

Change Rules as below for Both the Buttons Serve Later and Now as below

SERVE LATER

SERVE NOW 

One Last Step is to Change the Rule of Update Moved Entity Color as below

We just add the Constraint as below
