TRANSACTION -->PRODUCTION
The production module is used to track the consumption of raw materials in the location.
This module has two submodules which are explained in detail further in this document
Yield | This module records issue and yield of the raw materials. |
Productions | This module records the yield for the materials issued in the Issue module. |
YIELD
In the yield module, we can issue materials and track their usage for creating Finished Items. Here we can Input the raw materials and its quantity used to create an x amount of Finished item.
The following examples will help us understand what is Finished products and how different it is from the Menu Items.
Example 1: We can create Yield for creating 100 Kg of Chicken biryani. Considering Chicken biryani is a Finished Product.
In this example, 100Kg of Chicken biryani is Finished Product, The Menu item chicken biryani (1 plate) could be equal to 0.5kg of Chicken Biryani. So, the Finished Product 100 Kg of Chicken biryani can be the material used to create Menu Item Chicken Biryani with a quantity of 0.5 kg per plate.
Example 2: Dosa batter of 50Kg and 5kg of Chutney can be Finished Product which can be used as some of the materials used to create a Dosa item on the Menu.
To prepare 1 Menu item Dosa we can map 50gms of Dosa batter, 50gms of chutney, and 2 tbsp of oil.
Hoping the concept of Finished product and Yield is clear, let us understand how to create the Yield on Yield Module for 100 Kg Chicken Biryani.
STEP 1: Go to HOUSE --> TRANSACTION --> PRODUCTION --> YIELD Module. The below appears.
NOTE: There are 2 options to create Yield here, Let us understand the two methods and its difference.
CREATE YIELD
CREATE BOTH ISSUE AND YIELD
CREATE YIELD
STEP 2: Click on CREATE YIELD Button, the below page appears. Add the materials and their quantity and SAVE.
STEP 3: Under the ACTION, Click on the YIELD OUTPUT button as shown in the below picture, to map the output Finished item to the materials.
Note: The Status will be Pending until the Output Material is mapped.
STEP 3: Once you click on the Yield Output button the below page appears with an option to Input the Yield output material. Add the Output material and its Quantity and SAVE.
The status will be changed to Completed once the output is mapped.
CREATE BOTH ISSUE AND YIELD
STEP 2: Click on CREATE BOTH ISSUE AND YIELD button. The below page appears.
STEP 3: Add the Input and Output materials Directly and Save.
NOTE: The Output can be either Semi Finished materials or Finished materials that can be used infractions to create Menu items.
You can also delete or Edit the Yield by clicking on the respective action under ACTIONS.
PRODUCTIONS
Production is a module where we can create the Items (Yield Output) for the raw materials issued in the Issue module.
NOTE: For the Production or Yield modules to be available it is necessary that the "Production Allowed" checkbox is clicked while creating a location.
STEP 1: Go to HOUSE --> TRANSACTION --> PRODUCTION --> PRODUCTIONS module.
STEP 2: Click on the CREATE PRODUCTION, The below page appears. Select the Production Unit and Add the reference.
NOTE: CREATE PRODUCTION WITHOUT ISSUE is similar to CREATE Production, except that it does not expect the Issue Reference Input.
STEP 3: Fill in the materials and the quantity and SAVE.
