Screen Menu helps us design the UI of the Menu. It allows us to create and edit the buttons for the front end POS for the menu, create additional categories only for the display purpose.
Design Screen Menu
STEP 1: Go to CONNECT --> MENU --> SCREEN MENU.
STEP 2: Click on CREATE SCREEN MENU, the following Page appears. Fill in the details, select location, and SAVE.
STEP 3: On the home page, you can see the new screen menu created. It has various options.
COPY-->GENERATE - It allows us to generate the screen menu. The categories created in the category module will be synced with the screen menu
COPY-->CLONE - It allows us to create another screen menu with similar characteristics for a different department.
CATEGORIES-->List - Once Generated, the categories will be displayed. Here you can also add new categories for the display purpose. Click on CREATE SCREEN CATEGORY to create a new display category.
Example: I have created a category snack.
Then click on LIST to add items to the category.
Click on the CREATE SCREEN MENU ITEM button, then the following page appears. Fill in the details and select the items that must be visible under the category. Click on SAVE.
LIST - If you click on the list, you can create the category directly.
STEP 4: You can view the design by clicking on the VIRTUAL SCREEN button, here you can see how it looks on the screen.
